New Jersey’s Colombian District of Restaurants, Shops, and Culture

Welcome to Little Colombia, the heart of Elizabeth, NJ’s Colombian community. Along Morris Avenue, you’ll find a lively mix of family-owned restaurants, bakeries, shops, and cultural experiences that celebrate Colombian heritage. From traditional dishes like arepas and bandeja paisa to music, art, and nightlife, Little Colombia is where food, business, and culture come together. As part of New Jersey’s Neighborhood Preservation Program (NPP), this district continues to grow as both a destination and a proud home for the Colombian-American community.

“Elizabeth’s Colombian District is a true reflection of our city’s diversity, culture, and spirit. Through the Neighborhood Preservation Program, we’re not only supporting small businesses and improving public spaces, but we’re also celebrating and preserving the traditions that make this community so special. I’m proud that together we can invest in a neighborhood that means so much to so many families in Elizabeth.”
